Kaleidoscope has been offering fine art classes to Barrington and surrounding communities since 1986

Kaleidoscope has been offering fine art classes to Barrington and the surrounding communities for 30 years. From its conception, Kaleidoscope has sought to maintain quality instruction in an inspiring, encouraging, comfortable, yet structured environment. Class sizes are kept small in order to give students individual attention and the opportunity to learn at their ability and pace. Any age student (age 4 and older) at any skill level is welcome. A non-profit, 501C3 Art School, Kaleidoscope is honored to serve the Art Instruction needs of the Barrington Area and surrounding communities.

Here is some work from our adult anatomical drawing class on Monday afternoons! We’re so lucky to have Tia teaching with us at Kaleidoscope. With her background in nursing, Tia brings a thoughtful understanding of the body to every lesson—helping students see anatomy not just as structure, but as movement, form, and expression.

Hello Kaleidoscope friends and family! You’re invited to this free event, no ticket is required, but donations are welcomed and encouraged.

The Jill scholarship fund helps provide scholarships and financial assistance for individuals and families in need to attend classes at Kaleidoscope School of Fine Art. Your generosity makes it possible for aspiring artists of all ages to access high-quality art education, discover new talents, and become part of a welcoming creative community.

All of our students are incredibly talented and dedicated to their art, and we’re so happy to give them the spotlight they deserve. Summer Art Show on Sunday, August 16, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. Student artwork from the summer will be on display, and we’ll have a Kona Ice truck, fun activities, and more for the whole family to enjoy.

Our private group classes are scheduled based on your group’s needs and the instructor’s availability, allowing us to offer flexible scheduling that works for you. Private classes also allow you to work directly with your instructor to create a unique curriculum tailored to your group’s interests, goals, and experience level.
