MTI is proud to be a sponsor of BroadwayWorld’s Next on Stage - Broadway's biggest national competition for High School and College students.

The entry period is now open for students to submit a video of themselves performing a song from the musical theatre canon.

Next On Stage was born out of the hope of providing a platform for some of the outstanding talent that will grace the Broadway stages of the future.

Since its launch, the series has enjoyed six seasons and showcased the voices of thousands of young people across the country.

Everything your students need to know about how it works and how to apply -- including information about performing in the live finale at New York's 54 Below and Grand Prizes like scholarships from IAMT and Atlantic Acting School -- is accessible below.
Entries close October 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

🎻 Calling actors who play violin—could YOU be our Fiddler?

Arts Alive!’s Pre-Professional High School Theatre Company is seeking two violin-playing actors for the iconic role of the Fiddler in our 2027 production of Fiddler on the Roof!

Our Fiddlers will have a lighter rehearsal commitment than the full cast, but they are crucial to our story—bringing this powerful symbol of tradition, resilience, and hope to life.

✨ Singing and dance experience are a plus but not required.

Interested? Contact Dena Davis at [email protected] to learn more!

Please help us spread the word to young violinists! Know someone who would love this opportunity? Tag them below or share this post. 🎶
