Grove Avenue Elementary School

Grove Avenue Elementary School educates students in grades K-5 and is part of the Barrington 220 School District. The school mascot is the Grizzly Bear.

Grove earned the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award in 1992, 2007, and 2016. Grove Avenue Elementary is one of eight elementary schools in the Barrington 220 School District, serving grades K-5. The school opened in 1954, as the “baby boom” took effect and more schools were needed in the Barrington area to accommodate the growing number of students. The school originally served grades K-6.
