Hi Everyone, it certainly has been a very long time since I posted on the site. I do apologize. Sometimes life gets in the way of living and keeping things updated. I want to thank all my wonderful and devoted students for their continuing support. Their dedication to the art of "riding in lightness" is inspirational. Along the way I have met many new people and they have become part of this group. It is such a pleasure to work with so many great folks and their horses. Their continued progress and success is a joy to watch. I thank everyone for their patience and will continue to update on a more regular basis. I wish all of you well in your equestrian endeavours.

It has been quite a while since writing on the site. Many changes and life challenges this past year. We bid farewell to a number of folks who are moving onto to non equine adventures. Wishing them the best of luck on their life's journey.
Those who continue to ride and train are making great progress in all aspects of their equine education. Marissa and Ariel are beginning canter work and doing very well. Sarah is working on walk, trot canter transitions and developing a wonderful seat. Reilly is working with a new horse Mercy and they are getting to know it each other on the ground and in the saddle. Gary took some time off this winter ( crazy work schedule) but will be getting back to riding Penny this Spring. Cindy and Blossom are continuing to make slow steady correct progress in their training sessions. Gillian is refining her communication skills with Rory and they are looking good. Two riders with dreams of eventing, Hannah and Rebecca are working with Ford on the flat and over cavaletti. Both are focused on correct balance in the saddle. Our other Hannah is working with her favorite horse Jack. It is a true love affair! Ali and her new horse Graham are still getting to know each other. She is taking her time and making sure he will be ready to start his education this Spring.
Looking forward to working with everyone this Spring.

A big congrats to Carol Empey and her daughter Marissa on the purchase of the beautiful black mare Ariel from Linsay Rich at Riley's Farm. We wish these two the very best of luck in the coming year. A better match could not have been found. A very big Thank You to Linsay Rich for making a young girl's dream come true. "Nothing is impossible if you believe".

Today blankets off. Horses here at Hy-Lind Farm have weathered the winter well. All horses are round and very fuzzy. Now comes the fun part, shedding! Lots more of Lipizzan snow!
