Hello all!! We appreciate everyone who brought in deer to us this year! We will no longer be accepting deer at this time. Those of you who are waiting on your trim, we have started the smoking process and will contact you as soon as it’s done! Thank you for your patience.

We have also started scheduling beef for this winter. If you’re in need of processing please contact our office. We will be taking a limited amount per week and appreciate your business.

Our hours will continue to be 9-3 Monday - Friday.

We are excited to announce that Barrett Locker will be taking whole deer this hunting season. There is a $100 (cash or check) deposit due at drop off and an additional $20 when you pick up.

All cutting orders will be taken at drop off. Please see cutting order options below.

You’re more than welcome to take your trim elsewhere. We can bag that up for you and add pork or beef if requested. We will also be offering smoked product as well if interested.

We ask that all deer be picked up within 2 weeks of completion.

Our hours will be 9-3 Monday-Friday.

Weekend drop off hours will be November 4 & 5 from 6:30 PM -8:30 PM November 11 & 12 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.

We never thought we’d be posting this, but here we are. A year and a half ago, we were making plans to shut down this March, for a month or two, to finish our remodel. And now that March has come and gone, our plans have changed. We have been struggling to make a big decision since December, but we feel it is in our best interest, for our family, to close Barrett Locker. Our kids are growing up too quickly and the locker doesn’t provide the flexibility we need to be there with them in these young years. Our bodies are also telling us we need to slow down a bit and to decrease the amount of mental and physical stress that comes with owning a business. It was hard to say no to scheduling more jobs, especially with how close we have become to many of our loyal customers. It is also hard for people to hear the word no.

We know there are a handful of people that we haven’t contacted yet, but please plan according, if you were planning to use us for future needs. Our last slaughter date was March 27th.

We hope this isn’t the end for Barrett Locker, but time will tell. Hopefully this is a, “See you later,” and not a goodbye. We are thankful for the past eight years and the relationships we’ve built with you, farmers and customers.

Please personal message our page if you have any questions. We will continue to be open our regular hours, finishing up odd and ends, until April 29th… when we will turn the freezer off. If you have meat in the freezer please call or message us to line up a pick up date.

Again, we are so sorry for the short notice. This has been a very heavy decision to make, but it is one we needed to make for our family! Thank you for understanding, and thank you for your business over the past eight years!

We will be closed this Saturday as we are out of town for our son’s state wrestling tournament. We are going to play it safe and not send our hired guys in with the predicted weather.
