Barnwell High School Guidance

The BHS Guidance Department will host a Senior Parent Night on Tuesday, September 1, at 6:00pm in the high school gym. College applications, scholarships, and graduation will be discussed during the meeting. We will also host a Junior Parent Night on Thursday, September 17, at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria. This meeting will help students and parents understand what needs to be done this year to get ready for senior year. Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend!

Seniors....if you are taking any college classes through Salk first semester, those classes will begin August 18 in room 407. If your schedule shows MW, then the class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you see TTh, then your class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Enjoy your last weeks of summer!

Yearbooks will be given out to seniors at Senior Awards Night on Thursday, May 21st immediately after the program.

Underclassmen can pick up their yearbooks during Flex from 2:30-3:00 on Friday, May 22nd in Mrs. Carson's room.

Any remaining yearbooks can be picked up after Memorial Day.

BHS’ prom, Spill the Tea, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 7:00 PM at BHS. Tickets are available for purchase online through HomeTown, and sales are limited to juniors and seniors. Please note that all tickets are non-refundable.

Before purchasing a guest ticket, students must first submit a Guest Approval Form to Mrs. Cooper or Ms. Duarte and receive approval (this applies only to guests who do not attend BHS).

You may also purchase tickets in person during both lunches from April 13th to 16th (Monday to Thursday). Exact cash only ($45/solo and $70 couple)
