Today law enforcement officers visited our center regarding a child. We fully cooperated with their request and provided the information needed.

We understand that seeing police officers at our childcare center can be concerning for the community. We want to reassure everyone that we remain committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all children.

Starting December 1, 2025, the South Carolina DSS will temporarily pause new applications for the Working Families (“Strong Start”) Child Care Scholarship Program.

What does this mean for you?

If you already have a scholarship, your services will continue until your eligibility ends.

No new applications will be accepted unless you fall under a protected category (TANF, Special Needs, Homeless, Child Welfare).
