We’re down to just **two remaining spaces** in the SOAR Afterschool Program!

If your family has been considering SOAR, now is the time to reach out. Give your child an afterschool experience filled with outdoor exploration, hands-on learning, friendship, and fun—all in the unique setting of TL Storer.

Today we got to cheer on one of our own at the Belknap County Fair!

Many of our TL Storer campers already know Miss Jillian’s famous miniature horse, Dell, who has made special visits to camp and even stopped by Barnstead Elementary to make new friends.

But did you know she also has a full-size pony named Whiskey?

Today we had the chance to watch Miss Jillian and Whiskey in the show ring, and our camp family couldn’t have been prouder. Seeing our counselors share their talents and passions outside of camp reminds us that they are incredible role models both on and off the campground.

Congratulations, Miss Jillian, on a great day at the fair! We know our campers will love hearing all about your adventures with Whiskey when they see you back at camp.

🌲 Looking for an afterschool program that’s a little different?

At TL Storer’s SOAR Afterschool Program, the school day doesn’t end when the bell rings—it becomes an adventure.

Our students spend their afternoons exploring the outdoors, meeting farm animals, hiking trails, learning through hands-on activities, and continuing their education with support from certified teachers—all in a safe, encouraging environment.

If you’re looking for an afterschool experience that builds confidence, curiosity, and a connection to nature, we’d love to tell you more.

🐄 The cows are coming… and they’ve informed us they expect their accommodations to be ready on time.

This Saturday we’re getting the pasture ready for our four-legged seasonal employees, and we could use a few extra hands.

The to-do list includes:
🔨 Driving step-in fence posts
🧵 Running reels of electric fence
🌱 Setting up paddocks
💧 Laying out the water system
🌿 Clearing fence lines
…and whatever other “five-minute jobs” somehow turn into thirty-minute adventures.

No experience is necessary. If you know which end of a fence post goes in the ground, you’re already ahead of some of us.

Come out for an hour or stay all day—every bit of help gets us one step closer to welcoming the cows. Besides, it’s a lot more fun to build the fence before the cows arrive than after they’ve decided to redesign it.

🌲 **Some of the best parts of childhood don’t happen indoors.**

They happen in the woods.
They happen with a pocket full of rocks, a stick that somehow becomes a tool, and a story that gets bigger every day.

This summer at **TL Storer**, we’re opening up over **1,000 acres of woods** for kids ages 6–11 to do exactly that.

Not just to stay busy…
…but to explore, build, and figure things out for themselves.

They’ll spend their days:
🎣 Fishing quiet ponds
🎯 Learning archery
🔨 Building with their hands in woodworking
🌿 Exploring nature and science out in the field
🎨 Creating, playing, getting a little dirty, and a lot curious

This is day camp—but it’s really about something bigger.
Confidence. Problem solving. Time outside.

The kind of summer you remember later.
