The list of Banned Bookes is getting longer, and longer and longer…Lois Lowry’s new book is out just in time! Join us in reading Banned Books for Banned Books week!

Sometime librarians get called to make c***r 🍎at our unique and special Place of Innovation, Ben’s Mill. We are so lucky to have this historic gem in Barnet. Today was another successful Duck Race full of community togetherness, music and joy. The foliage today was spectacular. The library will be open Sunday 2-5 as usual🦆🩷

Wow! What an evening! Thank you to Beki AuClair from Vermont Fermentation Adventures, the McIndoes Community Center and the VT Humanities Council for a wonderful evening of sharing our garden spoils and turning them into something delicious through the wizardry of fermentation! We had so much fun and all brought home our own experiment to watch and taste until it is sauerkraut!

We’re almost back! We’ve gotten most of the books back on the shelves and are celebrating Hispanic and LatinX Heritage month. It is almost Banned Book week-we are so lucky here in Vermont but librarians in other states are fighting to keep their jobs over the Freedom to Read . Thank you for supporting our reading community, Barnet! 📚♥️
