Lamar County Stadium Safety Policy
Home Football Middle & High School Games – Expectations for All Guests
Lamar County Schools is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all students, families, and visitors. To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone in attendance, the following policies will be enforced at all home athletic events:
Prohibited Items & Behaviors
No standing along any rails inside the stadium. Please remain seated in designated areas during play.
No oversized bags allowed. Small bags and clear bags may be subject to search.
No weapons of any type — including, but not limited to, knives, fi****ms, and other dangerous objects.
No use of to***co products (including ci******es, e-ci******es, and va**ng devices) anywhere on school property.
No Loitering. All fans should remain in the seated areas during the game.
Supervision & Conduct
Guests who attend a middle school must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Guests are not permitted to use the common areas of the facility for “recess-style” activities such as running, ball games, or horseplay.
Guests are not allowed to enter the playing area before, during, or after an event.
Respect all players, coaches, officials, and fellow spectators at all times. Disruptive behavior, foul language, and unsportsmanlike conduct will result in removal from the event.
Weather & Safety Monitoring
Lamar County Schools uses the Perry Weather Monitoring System to continuously track excessive temperatures and severe weather conditions for the duration of each event. Safety procedures will be followed in the event of dangerous conditions.
