The 2023 NEC and 2024 I-Codes will be adopted on Aug. 17. This kicks in the 6-Month grace period, where you have the option to write 2020 NEC on the permit. Otherwise your new permitted work will be inspected to the 2023.

Now accepting registrations for my 76th NJ Electrical Contractor Exam-Prep course. The class starts Monday, September 14th. Classes are 6-9 Monday nights for 10 weeks.

Tomorrow night, April 22 is my last Contractor CEUs PernalSeminars webinar until after the summer. Thursday, I am doing a 5-hour DCA online presentation on 1 and 2-Family Dwelling Electrical Systems. Friday and Saturday I'm presenting the 2026 NEC Code/Law Update at Local 400 in Wall. And then it's on to the Building Safety Conference on May 6-8 at Harrah's in AC. Get your Code on!!!!
