Due to the ongoing power outage, the Route 9 closure, and the continued uncertainty surrounding power restoration and our ability to safely operate, Green Thumb will be closed for the remainder of the day today, Monday, August 17.

We apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. The safety of our children and staff remains our top priority.

Thank you, and we will keep families updated should there be any additional information that affects tomorrow’s operations.

Update for Families:

The building currently has partial power, but we still do not have working phones and are unable to safely operate under Office of Licensing (OOL) guidelines.

We will continue to monitor the situation and reassess at 10:00 a.m., unless full power is restored before then.

If full power has not been restored by 10:00 a.m., Green Thumb will be closed for the day.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will continue to keep families updated as more information becomes available.

Green Thumb Family,

Nicole is one of our longtime Green Thumb parents, and her son Cooper has been part of our Green Thumb Family since he was just two years old. Recently, Nicole received a cancer diagnosis, and her family is now facing a challenging journey ahead.

Our community has always been one that rallies around one another in times of need. There are several ways to support Nicole and her family, including a GoFundMe and upcoming fundraisers that have been organized to help them during this difficult time.

If you are able, please consider supporting them in any way you can. Whether it’s donating, attending a fundraiser, sharing their story, or simply keeping their family in your thoughts and prayers, every bit of love and support means so much.
