Congratulations to the BMHS class of 2026! You all have been such a joy to watch grow. Each of you have had a unique part in making this year so exceptional. Your wit, musicianship, dedication, and presence will be missed by us all in August!

As your director, I feel so privileged to have shared in a small part of your time in high school and am extremely grateful for the love you have poured into your music making! Thank you for sharing your voices with us all!

KMEA Choral Assessment 2026
What a fantastic day!! These students performed beautifully for the judges and their peers at other schools and I could not be more proud.

7/8th Grade Choir scored proficient overall and received a distinguished sight reading score!

Concert Choir scored distinguished overall and received a perfect sight reading score! This is the first time this ensemble has received such high scores since before 2020!

This afternoon, Ethan Jenkins and Lila Robinson participated in Solo & Ensemble. This is the first time either of them have participated in this event. Ethan scored proficient and Lila scored distinguished!

All students demonstrated great maturity in behavior, excellent musicianship in performance, and represented Ballard County with pride. It’s a great day to be a singing Bomber!

KMEA 2026

What a joy to make music with our friends from across Kentucky!

This year, 2 singers were accepted from BMHS TO perform in the KMEA Jr High All-State Choirs and 3 singers were accepting into the KMEA All-State Choirs.

These singers had the opportunity to work with exceptional composer-directors from across the USA. I am so proud of their hard work and musicianship!

Hilltoppers Sing! 2025

BMHS tenors and basses had the privilege of traveling to Western Kentucky University to perform with other high school and collegiate singers from Kentucky and Tennessee today.

Thank you to WKU Choral Activities for putting this event together, our wonderful chaperones for making today so smooth, and to our singers who represented Ballard County with excellence!

We had a FANTASTIC day at First District Honor Choir! These students spent just one school day rehearsing music with singers from other schools across the region and performed tonight at the McCracken County High School C-Plamt Performance Center.

Thank you to Dr. Bradley Almquist for directing this group, to Ms. Fallis and MCHS for hosting, the families who came to support these singers, and the students for being wonderful young people and musicians!
