We are excited to welcome our Comets back to campus tomorrow, Friday, August 21, 2026.

We understand that some families may still be without electricity. If your student needs access to a warm shower, please contact the school privately, and we will gladly make arrangements. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Due to widespread storm damage, downed trees, hazardous road conditions, and power outages throughout the county, Carlisle County Schools will not be in session today, Thursday, August 20, 2026.

This closure will allow emergency personnel, road crews, and power crews time to safely clear roads and restore power.

Please avoid damaged areas, never approach downed power lines, and use caution if travel is necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please stay safe.
