School buses are back on the road today!

As students across Carlisle County head back to school, please slow down and stay alert for buses loading and unloading children throughout the day.

Remember, every school bus stop is a child’s bus stop. When a school bus has its stop arm extended and red lights flashing, the law requires you to stop.

All Carlisle County school buses are equipped with stop arm cameras to help identify vehicles that illegally pass a stopped school bus. Violations will be referred to the court system, and offenders will be prosecuted.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe. Let’s make this a great and safe start to the school year!
