🍎 Don’t forget—Fall 2026 Teacher Grant applications are still open!

Teachers and schools within the Nelson County Schools District can apply for up to $2,000 through the UP Foundation to help bring classroom and school projects to life.

Have an idea for new resources, hands-on learning, a special experience, or something completely outside the box? We want to hear it!

📚 Applications are open through October 15.
There’s still time to apply—don’t miss it!

What a great night at the GlowUP Golf Scramble! ⛳️

We had such a great time with everyone who came out to play and support the UP Foundation! Unfortunately, a storm rolled through before we could finish the “glow” portion of the scramble, but we made the best of it and still had a great night!

A special thank you to Adam Gossom with Uncle Ham's Barbecue, LLC for generously providing all of the food for the event at no cost. We truly appreciate your support!

And thank you to Tyler Bruington with Tyler Bruington - Shelter Insurance, who won our 50/50 drawing and generously donated his winnings right back to the UP Foundation!

Thank you to all of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the event possible. We appreciate you showing up and supporting our local students and schools!

The NCS UP Foundation awarded more than 50 Ignite Your Future dual credit scholarships this year, totaling $15,000 to help students take their next steps toward college and careers. We greatly appreciate our donors who support our students as they strive for work and life readiness!

🍎Fall 2026 Teacher Grant Applications are NOW OPEN through the UP Foundation!

Have an idea that could make a difference in your classroom or school? This is your chance to bring it to life!

Teachers and schools within Nelson County School District can apply for up to $2,000 in grant funding to help supply classroom and school projects.

And when we say think creatively, we mean it! Some of the projects that have been supported include Old Kentucky Home Middle School’s sensory garden, The New Haven School’s garden project, and Foster Heights Elementary School’s "Dig Deep" program, which gave students the opportunity to take part in a Jamestown Capstone Trip, creating meaningful, hands on experiences that connect learning outside of the classroom.

Your idea could be next! whether its new classroom resources, hands on learning, an innovative program, a garden or a special experience for students, we'd love to see what you come up with!
