This week, we’re excited to introduce two outstanding members of our officer team: Chapter President Christen Parsons and Vice President Clara Belle Bishop!
As President, Christen leads our chapter with dedication, enthusiasm, and a passion for agriculture. She works alongside fellow officers to help plan activities, support members, and represent our chapter within the school and community.
As Vice President, Clara Belle plays a key role in supporting chapter activities, encouraging member involvement, and helping ensure our chapter continues to grow and succeed. Her leadership, commitment, and positive attitude make a lasting impact on our FFA family.
Together, Christen and Clara Belle work hard to serve our members, promote agricultural education, and help make our chapter the best it can be. We are proud to have them leading Nelson County FFA this year!

⭐️ SAE Of The Week: Will Mattingly ⭐️

Will Mattingly, a sophomore at Nelson County High School, is building valuable agricultural and business skills through his Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Through his vegetable production enterprise, by growing, harvesting, and selling fresh produce to members in our community. Be on the look out for his stand to support your local farmers. We are proud to recognize him for his hard work and commitment.

One of our own, Landon Miller, is in the running for FFA in the USA Member of the Year, and we need your help! This recognition highlights hardworking FFA members who go above and beyond in leadership, service, and agriculture.

⭐️ SAE of the Week: Sympson Lawn Care ⭐️
Daniel Sympson, a sophomore at Nelson County High School, is the owner of Sympson Lawn Care, where hard work and entrepreneurship are in full swing! Through his Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), Daniel provides services including lawn mowing, tilling, landscaping, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and snow removal.
We’re proud to recognize Daniel for his dedication, work ethic, and commitment to growing his own business. 🌱

⭐️ Fun Day At Bloomfield Elementary School! ⭐️

Our Ag students had an amazing time helping out at Bloomfield Elementary’s Field Day! From running activity stations, and reuniting with past teachers to cheering on students, the day was full of energy, teamwork, and smiles. We’re proud to see our students stepping up as leaders and make a positive impact in our community! 🌱💛💙

⭐️ Senior Sendoff! ⭐️

As this year comes to an end we hosted our senior send off to celebrate our seniors handwork this year!We had an amazing time celebrating our seniors! From lots of food to lots of laughs and even rolling around in zorb balls, it was a night full of memories. We’re so proud of our seniors and all they’ve accomplished, and we’re excited to see where their futures take them. 💙💛

As this year comes to a close, we want to honor the Class of 2026. We want to thank them for being the backbone of our chapter. From the late nights to the big wins, and there leadership to lead our chapter and members. As they leave, they leave behind a chapter that is stronger, kinder, and better because of them.

Join us on May 14th as we celebrate the seniors who have dedicated their time, leadership, and passion to our chapter. 💙💛

Our Senior Send-Off is a chance to recognize their accomplishments, share memories, and wish them the best as they take their next steps in life.
