Our fundraiser kicks off on Tuesday, October 13th and this year's theme is Apex Super Heroes. For two full weeks, students will unlock real-life superpowers: steadiness, reliability, uplifting others, and more.

Right now, we only have 3.7% of our Foster Heights school population signed up for the UP & Running 5K… and we KNOW we can do better than that! 💙

📚🌳 WORDS WERE ON THE MOVE AT FOSTER HEIGHTS! 🐾✏️

Our Huskies took learning outside for a school-wide Story Walk! Students explored the trail while becoming word collectors—looking, listening, thinking, and discovering new vocabulary along the way!

🔎 Our K–2 Huskies collected interesting words they could find, see, and hear throughout the trail.

🌟 Our 3–5 Huskies took it a step further by collecting and “elevating” vocabulary, searching for vivid and descriptive words they could use to make their speaking and writing even stronger.

To wrap up the experience, students came together for a collaborative “Word Toss,” sharing and celebrating all of the amazing words they collected!

We love seeing learning extend beyond the classroom walls. BIG learning + fresh air + lots of great words = a pretty awesome day to be a Husky! 💙🐾📚

🧸✨ MAKE YOUR OWN TOY! ✨🧸

Ms. Jaggers’ kindergarten class put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work during Monday’s “Make Your Own Toy” EL workshop!

Students had the chance to dream up their own toy ideas, design them, and bring their creations to life! We loved seeing all of the imagination, creativity, and hands-on learning happening throughout the workshop.
