We're excited to introduce Ms. Halle Calbert, who will be joining Foster Heights as our Family Resource Assistant!
Born and raised in Bardstown, Halle recently earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Spalding University and is currently working toward her Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Louisville, with plans to graduate in December 2026.
Halle is excited to be back home serving the community, families, friends, and students who once supported and shaped her throughout her own educational journey. We know her passion for helping others will make a meaningful impact on our Foster Heights family.

We're excited to officially introduce Ms. Anni Downs, who will be serving as an Interventionist this school year!
A Bardstown native, Ms. Anni is no stranger to the Foster Heights family. She has been part of our school community since her junior year of high school, serving in several different roles along the way. This year, she's excited to gain experience in a new position, build meaningful relationships with students, and continue working toward her degree in Special Education.

We are excited to welcome Ms. Ashley Blandford, who will be serving as Nelson County Schools' Behavior Supports Coach. While Ashley will support students and staff across all Nelson County schools, we are thrilled that Foster Heights will be her home base!
Ashley grew up in Raywick (Marion County) and now lives in Springfield. She brings 12 years of experience as a special education teacher and a heart for helping students and educators succeed.
Ashley shared, "This is a brand-new position with so much potential to make a positive impact. Iβm passionate about supporting both students and teachers, and I truly believe that building strong relationships and removing barriers are key to student success. Iβm excited to help create positive learning environments where everyone can thrive, and I canβt wait to get started!"
