πŸ’™ Welcome to the FHES Family, Ms. Courtney Bartley! πŸ’™

A Bardstown native, Ms. Bartley may be new to the position, but she is certainly not new to Foster Heights. As a mother of six and a dedicated volunteer at FHES for the past 10 years, she has spent countless hours supporting our students, staff, and school community. She will be working with Ms. Porter as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant.

When asked what excites her most about this year, she shared: "I’m excited for the opportunity to join fellow staff members who have become family. Getting to support and build bonds with incoming students while sharing my knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm to help kindergarteners unlock their full potentialβ€”not just in the classroom, but in everyday lifeβ€”is a passion of mine." πŸ’•

We are so excited to officially welcome Ms. Courtney Bartley to the Foster Heights team and can't wait to see the positive impact she will make on our youngest Huskies! 🐾

Meet Mrs. Audrey Downs, our new Kindergarten Teacher! 🍎✏️

Mrs. Audrey is from Bardstown and has spent the past 7 years teaching Preschool at the Nelson County Early Learning Center. We are so excited for her to bring her experience, passion, and caring heart to Foster Heights this year!

Mrs. Audrey shared that the most meaningful part of this new chapter is getting to be at the same school as her own children, Waylon and Everly, and sharing those everyday moments together. She says it is incredibly special to return to the school community that once helped shape her as a student β€” now as an educator and parent. She is also excited to step outside of her comfort zone, try something new, and embrace all of the opportunities, growth, relationships, and memories this school year will bring.
