๐ BES Families, We Have Exciting News! ๐
As part of Bardstown City Schoolsโ continued investment in student safety, Bardstown Elementary School will soon benefit from the addition of a second School Resource Officer serving our elementary campuses.
This additional support will help strengthen school safety efforts, build positive relationships with students, and provide an even greater law enforcement presence across the Bardstown Early Childhood Education Center, Bardstown Primary School, and Bardstown Elementary School.

A big thank you to the Bardstown Police Department for donating a former police vehicle to BCS!
This generous donation will support our district's safety efforts and serve as a vehicle for our second School Resource Officer.
We are grateful for the strong partnership we share with the Bardstown Police Department and their continued support of our students, staff, and schools.

Yesterday they walked our halls as Seniors, but in 2019 they were BES fifth graders. Today we celebrate the Class of 2026 with an elementary days throwback. ๐๐

Nominations will be open from May 18, 2026, to May 22, 2026, with elections to follow the following week. Please seek permission from the individual before nominating them for this position.
To serve on the Site-Based Decision-Making Council, you must have a student enrolled at Bardstown Middle School for the 26-27 and 27-28 school year.
