Nelson County Beef Cattle Association

We were glad to help sponsor the Forage tour hosted today by UK Master Grazer and Kentucky Forage and Grassland Council. Around 100 people were in attendance on the farm of John & Jill Settles in Washington county. Always great to have field days locally to give producers the chance to see real world examples of different practices that they can possibly use on their own operations.

Due to our fantastic sponsors, there will be no charge for our 2026 Summer Forage Tour.

If you're coming out to the Nelson County Fair this week we will be open Wednesday through Saturday!

We're proud to help sponsor the Nelson-Washington county 4H-FFA Beef show. The show starts at 9am Wednesday 07/15/26. We will be serving food for lunch after the show. So if you don't have any lunch plans stop by the Fairgrounds and check out the youth show and grab a sandwich for lunch.
