Bethlehem Eagle Baseball

Great season. Thanks to the Stones and Greers for hosting our end of season banquet. Seniors you will be missed, underclassmen you’ve got big shoes to fill. Coaches, thanks for all your time this year with our boys. Parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts uncles and friends these boys would be nowhere without your commitment and dedication, thank you.

The Eagles come up on the short end of a 2-1 game in the 19th District Championship. Senior Carter Zutterman went the distance scattering 5 hits, 1 earned run while striking out 6 and walking one. Junior Ike Hahn-Hibbs had the only Eagle rbi. The Eagles start region play Saturday at E-town, time tbd.

The Eagles open district play with a 4-0 shutout over NC. Senior Ashton Blair was brilliant going the distance only giving up 2 hits while striking out 6. Blair had 2 hits to lead the offense. Senior Carter Zutterman's 2 rbi double in the 5th opened the scoring plating Blair and Junior Teagan Adams. The Eagles advance to the Championship game tomorrow at Bardstown.

The Eagles went on the road tonight and lost a tough one 2-1 in 8 innings. Senior Carter Zutterman scattered 4 hits in 7 complete innings striking out 5. Hits were by Zutterman, Senior Ashton Blair, Senior Cooper Stone, Senior Parker Greer, Junior Teagan Adams and Junior Ike Hahn-Hibbs. Hahn-Hibbs had the lone rbi for the Eagles. Next up, at Bullitt East tomorrow.

In a battle of Eagles Bethlehem goes on the road to pick up a BIG road win tonight. Senior Ashton Blair goes the complete game on the hill scattering 8 hits with 4 earned while striking out 2. Offensively Senior Carter Zutterman, Blair and Junior Kyler Del Valle were all 2-3 at the plate and all had an rbi. Blair smashed his 4th home run of the year and Del Valle had 2 triples. The Eagles travel to Bullitt Central tomorrow.
