Our schools on the traditional calendar are scheduled to return to school on Monday, August 24, 2026. Please see the message below for important reminders.

Dear CCS Families,

We are so excited for students to return for the 2026-2027 School Year! As we welcome students for the first day of school this Monday, August 24th, we want to share a few important reminders and updates with our families:
✏ Please plan to be at bus stops at least 15 minutes early during the first seven days of school as routes are adjusted and fine-tuned. For safety, a parent or guardian must be present at the stop for all Pre-K through 2nd-grade students. Bus assignments are available in the Campus Parent Portal and through the Edulog Bus Tracking App.
✏ Families are always welcome to drop off and pick up students. Please remember that lines are busiest during the first two weeks of school. To keep traffic moving safely, have students ready to exit when it’s their turn, and ensure they use the side closest to the school to avoid walking around the vehicle.
✏ School start and end times, including when campus doors open, are available on our website. Visit our Back-to-School Hub for additional information and resources, such as Dr. Lutz’s Welcome Back Letter, school meal information, school supply lists, and more.
✏ While we anticipate a smooth start, we recognize there may be a few bumps over the first few days. Please contact your child’s school or the CCS Department area for assistance; we are here to help!

Additional Reminders:
🍎 The first District-Wide Early Release Day is Friday, September 4th.
🍎 Monday, September 7th, is Labor Day. All schools & offices will be closed for the holiday.
🍎 For school-specific activities and events & to receive the latest announcements and updates, please also regularly check individual school websites and pages.

Tonight’s Varsity Football game is currently under a weather delay. Conditions will be reassessed at 7:00 PM. Students who have been dropped off to watch the game are to be picked up as soon as possible.
