Today marks the first day of classes, and it's great to have all of our Bulldogs back on campus! The energy is building, friendships are reconnecting, and a new year of opportunities is underway.

Summer Fellowship Highlight: Kassidy Koogler ’25

This summer, Kassidy served as a Rural Summer Legal Corps Student Fellow through Equal Justice Works, with AppalReD Legal Aid serving as her host site. Through this fellowship, she gained hands-on legal experience while serving the Somerset community and surrounding areas.

During her fellowship, Kassidy had the opportunity to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, attend court proceedings, assist with a jury trial, participate in client meetings, and support legal clinics and community outreach efforts.

Now heading into her second year at Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Kassidy continues to put her passion for advocacy and service into action. We are proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see what comes next!
