Lay Elementary is a high performing school in the Knox County School District located in Southeastern Kentucky. The school houses students in Kindergarten through sixth grade; as well as 2 district pre-school units and a district FMD and EBD unit. Core research based programs in reading, language arts, and math are implemented at high levels. Interventions are provided for struggling students. Lay School is highly competitive in extracurricular academics and sports.

Tonight is our Back to School Bash. Registration packets need to be completed and turned in when you come. Once you have turned in your registration packet, we will give out homeroom assignments. You will have the opportunity to see where your child’s classroom is located, meet the teachers, visit and community partners. Food will also be provided.

KCEOC Will also be providing FREE 🍕 PIZZA!
