🚗 🚨 Important KCMS Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up Safety Reminder 🚨🚗
Welcome to the new school year, KCMS family! Student safety is our absolute top priority, and we need everyone’s help to keep our drop-off and pick-up lines safe, calm, and efficient for every child.
Please review these essential safety protocols to help protect our students:
Entry Route: Parent drop-off and pick-up is one-way only, entering from the Rock Gym/Football field side.
No Unauthorized Areas: Personal vehicles are strictly prohibited in the bus lanes, and students may not be dropped off in the Adult Education lot.
Stay in Your Lane: We now have two lanes available! Choose whichever lane is open upon arrival, but please stay in your lane—no lane hopping.
Pull ALL the Way Forward: The shaded area on the map below is our designated unloading/loading zone. Always pull as far forward as possible to keep traffic moving smoothly.
Stay Inside Until Traffic Stops: Students must remain safely inside the vehicle until you have pulled fully forward in the drop-off zone and all vehicles have come to a complete stop.
Drop Off ONLY in the Drop Off Zone: Please understand that while it may be tempting to let your child out two or three cars before you enter the zone or to stop as soon as your vehicle reaches the sidewalk, it creates a safety risk to your child and impedes the flow of traffic.
⏰ Reminder: Doors open for KCMS students at 7:30 AM.
