Today is my last day offering care at Lakeside Friends Daycare. I’m excited to share that I’ve accepted a position as an Early Education Specialist with ReadyKids, a nonprofit that supports children and families through a variety of wonderful programs. I’m hopeful that this new path will allow me to help even more families in meaningful ways.
The pandemic was terrible, to say the least, but it gave me LFD and I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and gained from this experience.
My gratitude goes out to my LFD community. There have been so many supporters, cheerleaders, and helpers without whom I could not have run this business for the past 5 years. Thank you!
My love goes out to all my current and former LFD children and their families. Thank you for the honor of caring for your kids. I love you and I sincerely hope you’ll stay in touch!
To quote the book I’ve read at each LFD graduation, “I wish you family and friendships, for they are life’s greatest sources of happiness… I wish you all those wonderful things but most of all I wish you happiness!”
