The Light continues to shine! A few weeks ago, we had a wonderful night of families in our building to hear and see what the students who had Art & Music for Specials Rotation #1 have been up to! We look forward to hosting this night for each music & art rotation throughout the rest of the year too!

Big thanks to Mrs. Mclnerny & Mrs. Norman for doing this and to all the teachers, administrators and volunteers who help to make these welcoming nights happen! We had a full house, and parents thrilled to be here!

Take a look at some of the kids' work, AND the overwhelming parent response to our question: "Where/to what are you and your family putting your best?" We do have the best community!! Enjoy!

We are so excited to announce that the NED Show is coming to BIS for all 3rd & 4th grade students TOMORROW afternoon!

NED's Mindset Mission is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.

This also means our 3rd & 4th grade students will have the opportunity to purchase YoYos from the NED program starting this Thursday, October 8th through Friday, October 16th from 2-2:40 pm in the hallway outside the main office. YoYos are to stay at home or in backpacks, aside from being able to use them in the designated NED area during outdoor recess. :-)

The preferred method of purchase is online through the link below. No need for cash or check and your student simply brings a copy of their receipt (or you can email it to their teacher for printing here at school). Thank you for your support of this character education program!
