REMINDER THIS EVENT IS TODAY:

Dear Parents and Guardians of Primary and Intermediate Students,

There will be a parent/guardian meeting on Thursday, August 13th at 5:30 PM held at Barberton Intermediate School. Although we are excited to welcome the students back to school very soon, this meeting is for ADULTS ONLY.

The point of this meeting is to discuss what we need to do, both at home and at school, in order for your child to have a successful school year.

Please consider joining us on August 13th. A slice of pizza and a bottle of water will be provided.

👧👦 Eligibility: FREE supplies for all Barberton students entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade (Students must be enrolled in Barberton City Schools).

Don't forget—Ohio's Sales Tax Holiday is taking place this weekend, running from Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9! It's the perfect time to stock up on back-to-school clothing, shoes, and additional supplies tax-free.

It’s Final form update time!!

Completing Final Forms is a critical first step for the school year.

Please note that all forms must be completed in order for your student to:
Get Set Up for Transportation: Finalized forms are required so our transportation team can process student information and assign bus routes.
If this is not completed, your child will not be scheduled for transportation.

How to Complete Your Forms
Go to Final Forms: You can access this under the Parents and Family tab on the BCSD website, the direct link is here: https://barberton-oh.finalforms.com/

Log In: Sign into your parent account. (If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page).

Review & Sign: Check all student information for accuracy (emergency contacts, medical updates, etc.) and sign all pending forms highlighted in red.

Important Deadline: Please complete all forms by Friday, August 7th, 2026.

You will still be able to access and update Final Forms after that date, but completion by this date will allow the district to plan appropriately for transportation, technology, and student safety.

If you need assistance logging in or have any questions about the process, please contact the district office through July 31st, or your child's school building after July 31st.

We are very thankful for our support from Magics-Ready-to Learn!
Since they are covering school supplies, we hope you will consider purchasing Bleach wipes, tissues or other classrooms supplies to assist your students teachers this school year. 💜

The Magics Ready-To-Learn community members group will once again be hosting a Back to School Supplies event for all Barberton City School incoming Kdg-5th graders on Saturday, August 8th at Barberton Middle School from 9am-12pm.

If you choose not to utilize this event we have included the supply list for BPS.

* Also, don’t forget about the Ohio Sales Tax holiday from Friday, August 7, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, Aug 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m
During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:

The exemption will apply to all items of clothing priced at $75 or less, school supplies priced at $20 or less, and school instructional materials priced at $20 or less.
