Barberton Adult Day Center *Partial or full-day care service for adults. We are small enough to respond personally and promptly to individual needs.

Barberton Adult Day Center provides partial or full day services for adults in need, enabling their caregivers to maintain employment and other family responsibilities. Our clean, comfortable facility is staffed by qualified professionals who will treat your family member like one of their own. We serve adults whose lives are challenged because of limited or diminishing physical or cognitive capab

ilities. Participants’ medical conditions may include stroke, arthritis, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia. Here at Barberton Adult Day Center we feel that our participants need a safe and caring environment as home-like and comfortable as possible. We have an open activity area, dining rooms, comfortable sofas, recliner & lift chairs, and other resting areas. We are a handicapped-accessible facility with free off-street parking. Individualized wellness programs include activities, nutrition, and education. We offer a support group so our families can meet and encourage one another. We also have a lending closet with medical equipment and other supplies free of charge. Because we know how important the selection of the day care is for your loved one, we offer a complimentary day at no cost to the participant or their family. This visit allows staff and family to determine the best way to meet the needs of the client.

This weeks Craft Hour with Janice Knapp, they made very beautiful Quilt Style Placemats! It was all ladies that day and they did incredible work. The quilt pattern they did is called “Trip around the world”Janice also laminated them so they can be used over and over again. They turned out great! Janice has been an angel coming in every week with a new, very creative craft to do with our participants. We can not say thank you enough to her for being so committed, compassionate, and so caring to our facility and everyone that comes here! A special thank you to Kathy for helping her this week make things go smoothly and with what we all need in our lives, humor! So thank you Kathy and once again thank you Janice. We all appreciate you!
