What was just a dream became reality in 2012 when Brian Zawistowski, stepped out in faith with a belief in producing top of the line rifles in terms of quality, precision and accuracy. In 2019, an indoor shooting range was built in Baraboo furthering the mission of responsible fi****ms education, safety, and providing a controlled environment for training.

DEZ offers fi****ms sales and consignments, transfers, conceal carry and handgun classes, training, custom rifle builds, and gunsmithing all under one roof.

💘Grab your date and head over for an exciting afternoon at the range! 💘LOVE AT FIRST SHOT. From 12 pm - 6:30 pm Friday and Saturday shoot over and fire up some fun. The retail store is open until 8 pm

When you arrive for date night at DEZ shooting range, you'll check in and watch a 7-minute video. If you're renting fi****ms, you'll select what you want to shoot. Staff will provide eye and ear protection if you don't have your own.

You'll receive a brief firearm orientation covering site picture, muzzle direction, trigger discipline, loading and unloading. It takes a few minutes.

Then you head to your assigned lane. The electronic target system lets you set your distance. Most couples starting out set targets closer, around 7 to 10 yards, which gives immediate feedback and builds confidence.

Week 8 Target Setup for DEZ’s Ladies League

12 targets, 24 rounds total, Virginia (NO make up shots)

2 magazines w/ 12rds each, 1 reload required

Starting at the marker, on the buzzer shooters will navigate the course as they see fit.

When finished, the RSO will give the: unload, show clear, slide forward, hammer down. “Down Range” will be called. Targets will be scored and covered and then the shooter will run their second.
