A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Coin Challenge! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised just over $620 for the East Excellence - Paws for a Purpose Therapy Dog Program!

Drumroll, please... 🥁

The winning name for our future therapy dog is Douglas (Doug)! We can’t wait to welcome Doug to school in the spring of 2027 after he completes his training.

East Elementary’s Carnival is this Friday!

The night will feature carnival games, activities, and fun for the entire family. This year’s carnival also includes a very exciting opportunity for students and families.

Thanks to a generous community donation, East Elementary is getting its very own Therapy Dog! While the dog will not officially join the building until training is complete, families will have the chance to help choose its name.

During the carnival, East will host a coin war where participants can vote for their favorite dog name. The name receiving the most votes will become East Elementary’s new Therapy Dog name.

Stop by, enjoy the carnival, and help East name its newest member of the school community! Proceeds from this event and future fundraising efforts will help cover the ongoing costs associated with the therapy dog program.
