🔥 Baraboo Youth Football officially kicked off the season today with a scrimmage in Reedsburg! 🔥

The 5th and 6th graders are looking SHARP! 💪 The offense, the defense, the energy, and most importantly, the EXCITEMENT to play the game were all on full display!

These teams are ready to work, compete, and have some fun. The season is just getting started, and we can't wait to see what these players accomplish! 🏈

With Baraboo Youth Football and the 9th-12th Grade High School teams getting under way with their season this week, it's a great reminder for our 7th/8th Grade JYMS Families to make sure their student-athlete is registered for the football season via Bound using the link below. You will need your child's student ID number in order to complete the registration:

Reminder, a current WIAA Physical Form needs to be completed and signed by a Physician. This form then needs to be uploaded to Bound via the Bound Mobile App or by taking a picture of the signed physical form and uploading that picture to Bound. We will not be collecting and storing the actual piece of paper copy of the physical. The Physical Form and $30 payment need to be handled through Bound upon registration. Wilz Drug in Portage is offering Free Walk-In Physicals on Wednesdays for athletes. Click the link below for a copy of the physical form:

Don't forget, Monday August 24th at the JYMS Main Gymnasium at 6:00 pm, we will be having our JYMS Fall Sports Parent Meeting. There will be district personnel on hand to assist with the Bound Registration process during this time as well.

A little rain wasn't going to stop these Baraboo Youth Football players! 🌧️🏈

Tonight marked the first tackle football practice for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, and they showed up ready to work. Their energy, toughness, and determination were on full display despite the wet weather.

An exciting season is just getting started, and this is only the beginning. Keep working hard, keep getting better, and let's make it a season to remember!
