Volunteers will be needed! Aside from the actual racing, volunteers help keep the wheels moving :) Mount Desert Island High School

Do you already have a large group who wants to volunteer. We would LOVE to host your group when its most convenient for you. Please send us a message. We will provide 1 or 2 hosts for your volunteer day. Who's going to be first? Brad Jordan or Lisa Horsch Clark or Cameron DePaola? Or maybe YOU. We are trying to schedule our bext normal volunteer day. We will let you know when that is. Comments welcome. Photo of Muscles the wood splitter.

Just two days away! We love our local non-profits for welcoming Mount Desert Island High School students to volunteer at their events year-round AND on our bi-annual Community Service Day, 10/14/26.

Big thanks to these eight organizations for hosting! 🙂

Reminders for Freshmen/families:
🥾Dress to work—wear “old” clothes, layers and sneakers or boots. No flip-flops, etc.
🌧️Rain or shine—outdoor locations will be wet/muddy.
🥪Bring filled water bottles & bagged lunch (lunch orders have been placed)
⏰We go during school hours, while Soph/Jrs take PSAT’s, Srs do sr things.
☺️Bring your best attitudes, please!

📝Permission forms submitted? ❓Email [email protected] w/ questions, please.
