Scholarship Opportunity for Young Pipers - Deadline Approaching!

The Ed Neigh/Sandy Jones Scholarship Fund is accepting applications for NAAPD 2026!

Each year, this scholarship supports a deserving young piper in attending the North American Academy of Piping and Drumming, covering room, board, and tuition.

We know costs are rising everywhere, and opportunities like this can make a real difference. If you’re a dedicated piper under 25 (or know someone who is), this is a wonderful chance to learn, connect, and develop alongside a vibrant musical community.

Selection is based on excellence in piping and financial need, and applicants must include a recommendation from their pipe major and/or teacher.

Application deadline: May 15
Notification by: May 31

For years, our students have wished for a winter gathering, and we’re delighted to make it a reality.

Join us for the very first Hogmanay Piping Sessions, happening December 28, 2025 – January 2, 2026 in Valle Crucis, North Carolina.

This brand-new winter session combines world-class instruction and fellowship with the magic of the High Country in winter—snow-dusted mountains, evenings by a crackling fire, and a festive Hogmanay celebration to welcome the New Year.

Bring a guest! Tag-alongs are welcome and will find plenty to enjoy—from cozy inns and mountain trails to skiing and charming small towns.
