Here’s how the construction projects are going!

-At Banks High, the locker rooms are cruising along, and headed towards completion. The walls and ceilings have been painted, and wall paneling is being installed. Concrete floor polishing is in progress.

-At the aux gym, the team room concrete slab was poured. Framing continues around the gym, and along the interior walls. CMU block was completed in the restroom area, and ceiling framing is being installed. The water detention system components were delivered this week as well.

-At Banks Elementary, the boiler piping is being reworked to provide a better and more reliable heating system. Startup of the boiler system will happen soon. One of the new rooftop air handlers was set by crane on the roof, and the second one will be placed next week. Following the boiler startups, the rooftop units will go through their startup process as well.

Here’s the latest on bond construction progress!

-At Banks Elementary, the new boilers are installed. Roof-top units will be placed via crane next week!
-The steel structure is up on the aux gym, with exterior and interior framing happening now.
-At Banks High, site work continues. Inside, the locker room framing and drywall are complete. Painting to follow!

The progress is showing! Bond construction is moving ahead at full speed on the new auxiliary gym, high school addition, and locker room renovation.

-At the aux gym site, steel er****on is complete, with steel painting now underway. Restroom wall installation is also in progress.

-At the BHS addition, sitework continues, with crews excavating soft soils beneath the building pad and replacing them with structural rock. They are also pouring new footings.

-The locker room renovation is progressing well. Wall insulation is underway, and sheetrock installation will follow shortly.

Summer construction continues at Banks Elementary School! Crews have completed several important milestones, including:

✅ New boilers installed
✅ Shingle roofing completed
✅ Removal of two older rooftop air handling units

Electrical, piping, roof framing, and new ductwork are now underway to improve the building's components for years to come. Thank you to our voters for investing in Banks schools and students!

Big things are happening at the high school!

The locker room renovation is taking shape with framing underway, CMU block walls installed, and new ADA-accessible ramps connecting the gym and locker room now poured.

On the building addition, crews are preparing for the first foundation pours by forming footings, installing reinforcing steel, and continuing site work.

The new Aux Gym has reached an exciting milestone! The concrete slab has been poured and is curing, and steel er****on has officially begun.

Thank you to our voters for approving the 2024 Bond and helping make these improvements a reality!
