We are proud to host our first-ever First-Gen Week as part of our efforts to celebrate the achievements of our first-generation college students.

Celebrated this week to honor the 60th anniversary of the Higher Education Authorization Act, the Husson Center for Student Success and the Office of Student Life will host a series of events to recognize, support, and celebrate our first-gen students.

Similar events will take place at colleges and universities across the country as part of the and FirstGen Forward initiative.

Husson University is celebrating First-Generation College Students Week with a series of events on campus. Next week, we’ll recognize the achievements and determination of students who are the first in their families to pursue a college degree.
