This week has been the perfect mud-playing week with our new waterproof mittens! Our Acadia, Big Sur and Yellowstone classes have been putting them to the test!

Thank you to the students and faculty for inviting us to learn how to keep our teeth healthy and also to learn more about the tools that are used when we visit the dentist. We had a great time!

The kids at Parkside Children's Learning Center took our turkey creation… and absolutely brought it to life. 🦃🎨
Their colors, their creativity, their imagination — we couldn’t love it more.
So thankful we could play a small part in giving them something fun to decorate this Thanksgiving.

What a busy week we had completing both indoor and outdoor projects! Thank you to Stitham Custom homes for expanding our infant playground and adding a sound board to it. Inside we added a cozy structure to our Grand Teton classroom as well as another sound board in our Glacier room.

Here's just three people who would be affected by cuts to child care and Head Start. Imagine the impact statewide.

Maine will lose teachers, Maine will lose more programs, this will hurt children and families. That is what is NOT sustainable. It's been raining in child care for decades, these cuts will cause a hurricane.

Please oppose these cuts and preserve this critical funding. We are counting on you all to uphold the hard work you have done to recognize that without child care, Maine suffers.

Congratulations to all the high school graduates! And a special congratulations to our Parkside graduates! Ryleigh stopped by one last time with her cap and gown!

Our weekend renovations were mostly indoor ones! Stitham’s Custom Homes painted our lobby, put in a new storage area for our part-time staff, extended our counter space in our infant rooms by adding butcher boards, stripped the rugs in the hallway and replaced it with vinyl plank flooring and of course we had 50 yards of sand delivered! And I just had to add how beautiful our apple tree blossoms are- the rain this weekend certainly helped!
