🚗👏 Congratulations to our Automotive Technology and Auto Collision students and their instructors, Mike Arcaro & James Luna!

Yesterday, the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety released its new public service announcement, “Know Before You Go.”

Last winter, UTC was approached to partner on this project to help educate Maine drivers….especially new and young drivers….about the importance of understanding their vehicle before hitting the road. From checking warning lights and tire condition to knowing what your vehicle is telling you, being aware of your vehicle’s condition is one of the simplest ways to prevent breakdowns and improve safety.

Our Automotive students, under the guidance of instructors Mike Arcaro & James Luna, were proud to be part of creating this statewide public service announcement. It’s a wonderful example of students applying their knowledge beyond the classroom to make a meaningful contribution to their communities.

We’re incredibly proud of Mike and James and all of our students for representing United Technologies Center and helping promote safer, more informed driving for everyone.
