The Float 207 team from our student-run One Circle Agency won three Golden Arrow Awards from the Maine Public Relations Council last night! 🏆 The team took home honors in Social Media, Integrated Communications Campaign, and Video Production. The Golden Arrow Awards recognize Maine’s best PR, marketing, and communications work and are judged by professionals from across the country.

Accepting the awards on behalf of the team were Sarah Grant and Kaiya Aceto. Congratulations to One Circle Agency on this incredible achievement! 👏

At tonight’s Senior Celebration, we rounded up our Marketing Communication and Graphic & Visual Design seniors who had participated in One Circle Agency for a photo! One Circle Agency is Husson University’s student-run agency, where students work with real clients and gain hands-on experience that helps prepare them for success after graduation. 🎓 👏

We’re so proud of our seniors and all they’ve accomplished! 🎉

Designing for screenprinting is just one of the hands-on techniques students explore in the Graphic & Visual Design program. From concept to creation, these students designed their very own t-shirts—and now they’re proudly showing off the final results! Nothing beats seeing your ideas come to life. 👕 🙌

Today was a great day for the Art and Design Club to visit the Center for Maine Contemporary Art and the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, ME. From the iconic works of Andrew Wyeth to the bold sculptures of Louise Nevelson, Maine-connected artists truly stole the show. In the CMCA ArtLab, students put their creativity into action by making their own art. 🖼️

At Research and Scholarship Day today, Graphic & Visual Design students presented their Product Package Designs. Each project showcased the full creative process—from researching target audiences and competitors 🔍 to creating mood boards and selecting typefaces and color palettes 🎨 before bringing their ideas to life.

Congratulations to Sarah Grant, whose design was selected for the abstract book cover—an impressive accomplishment! 👏

Spring semester starts this week—and our seniors are gearing up to turn creativity into careers when they graduate in May! In Design Portfolio class, students learn how to craft professional print and digital portfolios and résumés for creative fields. 🖌️

This featured portfolio from last spring was designed by Graphic/Visual Design alum Josh Perkins, now a Motion Designer at RR Donnelley. 💼

That’s a wrap! 🎉 Finals week was packed with creativity and celebration—from the ArtWalk to Husson University - One Circle Agency’s Open House. The open house showcased this semester’s client work, served up hot chocolate, and even featured a prize drawing (yes, including the giant teddy bear 🧸).
