Today I found this gem of a book at a little antique store in Sisters. It reminded me of the power of the intersection between knowledge, art, nature, story and how it all comes together to create connection and meaning in our lives. Books are more than just words, more than just stories, they are someone’s imagination, someone’s experience, someone’s emotions and someone’s creative power made manifest, and, that to me is one of the coolest things in the world. ❤️ What are you reading lately?

Luke and just wanted to pop in to say hi! We know, it’s been a long time since we have posted, and that closing down our in person services was hard for many. But Sapphire Farms is still here. We are just doing things a little differently now, and it’s a work in progress. As the organization restructures we will have many exciting offerings coming up. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to supporting youth and families, our belief in play based and nature based education, our commitment to healing, health and wellness for people AND animals and love, joy and awe we feel for horses, humans and nature. ❤️

We are closing. It is a bittersweet ending and we are filled with much gratitude for the opportunity we have had to positively impact our local community. I am sure that many of you will have feelings about it as well. The horses and I are here to listen. It was not any easy decision and was not made lightly. Our Bandon location will be closing as of April 20th. We will continue to offer online programs and plan to eventually offer in person services again in central Oregon.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the farm over the years. We appreciate you immensely. Sessions are available until April 20th if you would like to schedule something before we close. ❤️
