Shout-out to our 5th Grade Graduates!
Today we celebrate a remarkable group of young leadersβour 5th grade graduates!
You have grown not just in height, but in heart, character, and confidence. Youβve learned how to think deeply, work together, solve problems, and show kindness even when it wasnβt easy. That matters more than any test or grade.
As you move on to middle school, remember this: you are capable, you are prepared, and you are needed. The world is better because you are in it.
Keep asking questions. Keep believing in yourself. Keep showing up as the best version of who you are becoming.
We are so proud of youβand this is just the beginning.
Congratulations, 5th grade graduates! You did it!

Members of the Patterson Park's Antarctica Expedition Team volunteered with the Waterfront cages in the Chesapeake Bay. Through the project, students connected their studies of keystone species to local ecosystems, learning how oysters help support the health of the Bay. By preparing cages for the next generation of oyster spat, students gained hands-on experience in environmental stewardship, conservation, and ecosystem science.

π A Full House for Our 20th Anniversary Celebration! π
Our hearts are full as we reflect on todayβs From Seed to School concert celebrating 20 years of Patterson Park Public Charter School. Seeing students, families, alumni, staff, partners, and community members fill every seat reminds us just how special this community truly is.
Today was more than a concertβit was a celebration of two decades of growth, achievement, resilience, and the countless relationships that have helped shape our school. We were also thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of our beautiful new space in the former St. Elizabethβs Church, a place where new memories, traditions, and milestones will continue to flourish.
β¨ One Mission. Many Milestones. β¨
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make this evening unforgettable. Hereβs to the students who inspire us, the families who trust us, the staff who dedicate themselves daily, and the partners who walk alongside us.
20 years strongβand weβre just getting started. Hereβs to many more! ππ§‘π

What an incredible day as we celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Patterson Park Public Charter School through our From Seed to School concert!
It was wonderful to see students, families, staff, alumni, community partners, and supporters come together to honor two decades of growth, learning, and community. The day was made even more special as we officially celebrated the grand opening of our new space in the historic St. Elizabethβs Church buildingβa milestone that reflects both how far we have come and the exciting future ahead.
This yearβs theme, βOne Mission, Many Milestones,β perfectly captures the journey of our school. From our founding 20 years ago to the opening of this new chapter, our mission has remained steadfast: to provide an exceptional education and supportive community for every child.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the PPPCS story. Your belief, partnership, and dedication have helped transform a seed into a thriving school community.
Hereβs to one mission, many milestonesβand many more to come. ππ€

ππ¦ Our Polar Explorers Are Officially βBeing the Rhino!β π¦π
We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Antarctica Expedition Team, who were recently recognized with the Aegis βBe the Rhinoβ Awardβthe highest honor awarded to individuals who demonstrate courage, resilience, leadership, teamwork, and a willingness to face challenges head-on.
As part of their preparation for their upcoming Antarctica expedition, these student leaders have consistently stepped outside their comfort zones, embraced new experiences, worked together to solve problems, and shown what it means to persevere when things get tough.
The Rhino symbolizes more than strengthβit represents those who move toward challenges rather than away from them. Our students have embodied this spirit through their dedication to learning, environmental stewardship, scientific exploration, and leadership within our school community.
Congratulations to our Polar Explorers! Your curiosity, determination, and adventurous spirit continue to inspire all of us. We cannot wait to follow your journey as you represent Patterson Park Public Charter School on this extraordinary adventure.
βοΈπ Keep exploring. Keep learning. Keep leading.
And always remember: Be the Rhino. π¦π
