After earning his third degree from Carey Business School, Evander Tang reflects on his journey through the MBA, Health Care Management, and Finance programs- and looks ahead to beginning his fourth degree with the Carey community.

"This year’s ceremony was especially meaningful to me because I was listed with two Carey MS degrees in the Class of 2026. Completing these two programs over two consecutive semesters—one degree each semester—required sustained discipline, focus, and resilience.

I was honored to serve as the Chair of the Investment Committee for the Student-Managed Investment Fund. That was one of the most practical and meaningful parts of my time at Carey. This experience strengthened my investment judgment by connecting classroom finance concepts with real-money portfolio management and actual capital-allocation decisions.

From my MBA to my MS degrees in Health Care Management and Finance, I remain grateful for the opportunity to continue expanding my multidisciplinary expertise. I am also happy to share that I have been accepted into Carey's Marketing program!"
