Loyola’s Simon Center invests $20,000 in Baltimore startup
Loyola University Maryland’s Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship awarded an investment of $20,000 from the Loyola Angel Fund to Keppel & Kismet, a startup business in Baltimore that manufactures and curates premium small-batch corporate and personalized gifts.

Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business is excited to welcome Isabel Bilotta, Ph.D., Head of Learning and Innovation at Deutser, as the featured speaker for the 2024 Busch Lecture.

Dr. Bilotta, will lead an interactive session focused on how engaging in deliberate play helps to foster inclusivity at work by promoting connection and feelings of belongingness among employees. This session will include an audience Q&A with Dr. Bilotta and panelist Michael J. Tews, PhD.
John Michel, Ph.D., associate professor of management at the Sellinger School, is the Busch Faculty Scholar hosting the Lecture this year. The lecture is free and open to the public.

More than 100 students at Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business and Management volunteered this tax season through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in partnership with the nonprofit The CASH Campaign of Maryland to prepare 626 tax returns for taxpayers in the Baltimore community, resulting in tax refunds totaling nearly $1 million this season.

Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management’s MBA programs have been recognized nationally by U.S. News & World Report. The Professional's MBA , a part-time, evening MBA program designed for working professionals, was ranked No. 87—up 15 spots from last year’s ranking. Additionally, the Loyola MBA ranked:
- No. 19 for the business analytics specialty, up nine spots from last year
- No. 22 for the management specialty, up five spots from last year
- No. 25 for the marketing specialty
- No. 28 for the finance specialty
