Summer is off to a great start at Park Camps! PedalPower Kids campers built confidence on two wheels, while School's out Sports Camp kept the energy high with games, skill-building, and teamwork. We loved seeing summer adventures begin here on Old Court Road.

Congratulations to the 8th Graders, the Class of 2030! Yesterday we celebrated this amazing group of students with a Closing Ceremony filled with songs, speeches, and send-offs for their next adventure as Upper Schoolers!

A special thank you to Josh Wolf for his 32 years in the Park Middle School, the last 15 as our Principal. In July, Mr. Wolf begins his new role as Park’s Pre-K – Grade 12 Director of Teaching and Learning. ¡Gracias Señor Lobo!

The Senior Project at Park provides an opportunity for 12th Graders to plan and execute an individual venture and experience some of the demands and joys of work and the world beyond their usual high school environment. From working at the Maryland SPCA and Under Armour, to Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and Great Kids Farm, our soon-to-be graduates returned to campus this morning to share their experiences from the past six weeks.

Last year, Upper Schoolers Leo F. ’27, Cameron B. ’27, and Jack R. ’27 started an Ulman Foundation service club, supporting young adults and their loved ones impacted by cancer. Through Ulman Foundation’s So Do We program, students engage in education, service, and advocacy, creating tangible change in their communities while developing as leaders.

This year, Park’s So Do We Club contributed more than 100 hours of service, completed over 250 hours of educational programming, and raised $29,500 to support young adults impacted by cancer. Club leader Leo F. ’27 earned the Be Courageous Award for raising more than $20,000, and Park School was honored with the Maryland Cup as the top-performing school in the So Do We program. Congratulations to our Ulman Foundation club members for their extraordinary dedication, leadership, and commitment to service.

Congratulations to the Kindergarten classes on putting on two amazing plays! From the shipwreck of “The Adventures of the Sea Creature Friends” to the farmlands of “The Three Little Pigs: An Adaptation” — students worked hard to write and reimagine their scripts, build stunning sets, and create costumes for their characters. It was wonderful to see their ideas and creativity come to life!
