WE DID IT! Today we united and took a stance against bullying. Students and staff wore orange, recited the anti- bullying pledge, and created a kindness wall. Thank you, parents, for your support with this effort! A special thank you to the wellness team for putting this activity together. Remember parents, Student Led Conferences start tomorrow. On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, we will unify and take a stance against bullying. This week our second-grade students participated in a cooking workshop with Great Kids Farm. The students made watermelon salsa to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Thank you for the opportunity Parents, be sure to ask your child about their experience with the cooking class. Be on the lookout for more cooking workshops with Great Kids Farm. 🍉🫑🌶️🧅

On Monday September, 30 we will celebrate our attendance success and push for 100% attendance with class color treats and our Rodman parade. We are looking for 100% attendance from all students on this day. Last year we were “Rolling out the Raglan” and this year our theme is “ All the Roads Lead to School”. The Parade will start at 2:45 pm, to make it super colorful this year, we have assigned class colors. Please review the flyer for your child’s class colors and plan accordingly. National Hispanic heritage month starts today. Stay tuned for the many ways we plan to celebrate.!🇲🇽🇪🇸🇨🇷

Yesterday, September 10, 2024, we welcomed 3 judges from the circuit court for the Robes and Reading Program. Our 3rd grade students were able to ask questions, listen to a remarkable story, and even received some free giveaways. Our students were excited about reading, and they were also extremely excited about the special guest.

Every month we plan to bring in a special guest reader to read to our students in various grade levels. This initiative will aid in increasing literacy levels, provide exposure to our students, and enhance the excitement that our students have for reading. Here are some highlights from this amazing event, and please be on the lookout for who we will feature next month. 🎊🎈🎉🎈👩‍⚖️🧑‍⚖️📚

1. The slots in the before care program are limited. A decision will be made first come, first served. All other students will be placed on the waiting list until a slot becomes available.

2. Please do not complete the form two times for one child. One submission per child.

3. Aftercare is until 6 PM. This DOES include the Friday early release time.

4. After care is not free, please see the attached flyer for more details on pricing.
