What happens when a Montessori school and an affordable housing initiative share the same bold vision for community?

In Salt Lake City, Pinyon Montessori is showing what is possible.

Founding Teacher Leaders Margaret, Brandi, and Chip knew they wanted a downtown school rooted in access, diversity, and authentic Montessori education. That vision came to life through a powerful partnership with GIV Group and its Perpetual Housing Fund – the team behind Arbor 515, a former office tower transformed into 96 affordable apartments where families can build stability, equity, and long-term financial health.

When Pinyon connected with GIV through a former parent, it felt like a perfect match. “We were looking for them, and they were looking for us,” Brandi said. GIV’s commitment to affordability and community empowerment mirrored Pinyon’s vision for accessible, high-quality education. As part of this collaboration, Pinyon and GIV created a flexible rent-for-tuition agreement that enables some GIV families to attend the school — and together, they are exploring evolving scholarship pathways to expand access even further.

Pinyon Montessori is a model for how education and housing can work hand in hand to strengthen community, opportunity, and belonging.

Music invites children to move, listen, and connect.

In Tulsa, our Early Childhood guides explored how rhythm and sound can support coordination, focus, and joyful collaboration. What begins as music quickly becomes confidence, concentration, and community.

When learning is hands-on and purposeful, it stays with us. The smiles say it all. 😊

Grateful doesn’t begin to cover it. 💙 We are so thankful for my students and for the trust they place in this work. Seeing outcomes like this unfold across the globe is truly an honor.

Since its inception, the Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) pathway toward an M.Ed. in Montessori Education has been rooted in equity and access—creating meaningful opportunities for educators from all professional backgrounds.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this vision, and especially to the students who trust the process. And to the incredible team of faculty and staff below—this dream would not have become a reality without you and so many others who helped make it possible.
