We are excited to offer summer lunches to Sandy Plains students this year! Please see the flyers below for more information.

This is not an hour-long event. Your child can come in between 12:00pm and 1:00pm to eat the provided lunch and then will promptly be dismissed.

Our June Food Pantry will be held on Monday, June 22nd from 12:00-2:00pm at Door 3 (the pantry door)🥦🍞🍗🍔🍎

This pantry is open to SPES families only. Appointments are NOT required. Please see below for all details and procedures.

We will be hosting a supplemental food pantry on Monday, June 15th from 1:30-3:30pm. Please note this is NOT our full June pantry and there will be limited items available.

Appointments are not required, but please read all the information on the flyers. Failure to follow the below procedures will result in loss of future pantry access.

YOUR CHILD MUST BE PRESENT IN SCHOOL ON MONDAY IN ORDER FOR YOU TO ATTEND THE PANTRY!

Tomorrow, June 12th, is the last day of school for PRE-K ONLY. The last day for Kinder-5th is Tuesday, June 16th. The final days count for student attendance!

Plus we have some fun surprises up our sleeve for students who attend the last few days! We can’t wait to see our Eagles tomorrow at 8:30am! 🦅

The Maryland State Department of Education is hosting Virtual Family Information Sessions this month regarding its revised mathematics standards for PreKindergarten to Grade 8.

During the information sessions, families will learn what to expect in the upcoming year; explore tools such as the Numeracy Development Framework and Family Guides; and learn more about using MSDE resources to support student learning at home.

We are so excited for our Annual Spring Showcase tomorrow evening (6/2) beginning at 5pm!!

Fresh produce from Hungry Harvest will be available in addition to all the exciting events on the flyer.

‼️REMINDER FOR OUR 5TH GRADE FAMILIES‼️

Families of 5th graders transitioning to 6th grade are required to re-verify residency to confirm they still reside within the school district.

Please send in your residency verification documents ASAP:
•Lease or deed of the house
•3 pieces of mail
•ID or any other identification

Families living in a shared domicile must renew residency verification annually by submitting their Shared Domicile along with residency documents (lease or deed, 3 pieces of mail, and ID).

You can drop off all documents to the office or email to: [email protected] and/or [email protected].

**Families who have not verified residency will be expected to bring residency documentation to 5th Grade Farewell. Staff will be available to assist after the ceremony.**
