🎉 A dream years in the making is finally becoming a reality!
Today, Monarch Preschool College Park officially broke ground on its very first playground. This exciting milestone is the result of years of planning, advocacy, collaboration, and dedication from The Children's Guild, local leaders, community advocates, and neighbors who believed in this project.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision possible. Together, we're creating a safe, engaging space where children can play, learn, grow, and thrive for generations to come.
Now... let the building begin! 💙✨

🌱 It’s National Gardening Week, and across The Children's Guild schools and programs, students are learning the value of growing, nurturing, and connecting with nature.

From the greenhouse at Monarch Academy Glen Burnie, to the student-tended garden beds at The Children's Guild DC Public Charter School, to the peaceful outdoor learning spaces at The Children's Guild School of Baltimore, gardening is helping students build responsibility, patience, teamwork, and confidence. At Transformation Academy, students even travel weekly to assist at a local farm, gaining hands-on experience and life skills along the way.

Sometimes the greatest lessons grow from the ground up 🌼

This week's walk of Graduates was such a special moment at MAA! 🎓💙 We loved welcoming back former MAA students from Anne Arundel County high schools as they walked through our halls once again. Our current students were so excited to cheer them on and celebrate all they’ve accomplished!
A big thank you to everyone who attended and to Mrs. Nikki Johnson for organizing this meaningful event!
