Our students got to experience THEE biggest opportunity ever. Al Davis the band director of St. Augustine who also arranged the Hampton University version of Talkin’ was conducting our students. This clip is The Marching Flock and St. Augustine playing Talkin arranged in 1996.

I forgot about this until a Band played it tonight on ShowstyleTalk🙃

That moment when the keyboard player wasn’t at any rehearsals prior to the concert 🤦🏾‍♀️and missed the entrance from Procession into the Anthem of Praise. The kids did fine it was the adult that day🙍🏽‍♀️
Anyway I never said Thank You to Darrin Atwater for letting us borrow the scores.
