Week 2 as a solo admin and apparently…I’m every woman. 😂🎶
Listen.
Being the only administrator in the building will QUICKLY have you questioning how many versions of yourself can exist at the same time. 😭
But I’ve also learned that solo admin does not have to mean solo leadership:
You build capacity.
You put strong systems in place.
You make sure people know what they can handle without everything having to travel through the principal’s office.
You trust people to lead.
Because the goal isn’t for me to be everywhere. The goal is to build a school that can function well even when I’m NOT everywhere.
Now excuse me while I go be every woman for the rest of the day. 😂
Any other solo admins out there? How are y’all making it work?
